1. Delamping is the permanent removal of the equivalent of at least one 4′ T12 or T8 lamp from an existing 4′ or 8′ fixture. Please see the lighting retrofit application for more information. 2. Delamped fixtures, invoiced prior to the 3/8/11 effective date, will receive a $17/fixture rebate. 3. Most T8 systems are not affected by new DOE requirements. |

| U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Regulations require nearly all inefficient T12 fluorescent lighting to be phased out in 2012. We anticipate rebates for T12 upgrades will not be available after 2012. To assist your customers with this significant change, last month we announced limited-time bonus rebates for T12 – T8 retrofit, T12 – T8 delamping and T12 – T5 retrofit measures.
Beginning March 8, 2011 through December 31, 2011, all Xcel Energy Colorado electric business customers are eligible for a 50 percent bonus rebate – above and beyond current rebate levels – for select T12 upgrades. Rebates can not exceed 75 percent of cost. Business customers with peak demand of 400 kW or less may also contact C and J Lighting at 303-550-4502 to schedule a free on-site lighting audit. If you have any questions about this promotion or the T12 lighting regulations, please contact Chuck at 303-550-4502, email ctfedor@comcast.net, or visit www.candjlighting.com. Chuck would be happy to discuss these or any other Lighting Efficiency program details with you. |
